Well, it's official. Our life is starting to gain some normalcy and I've got say, it's pretty good! We finally have our situation under control; we have a dry house, we got our wheels back and we have the sun, the beach and the ocean at our finger tips. We have been enjoying the simple pleasures of life and welcome any of you to join us at anytime!
Lacey, remember this guy? Well, his shrimp is waiting for you.....yum yum!
What a fantastic surprise for us! We sure loved Noah and Charlotte's company- rain and shine!
Click on the following link to read the news story and see pictures of the collapsed bridge between PV and NV. So it is not just our house that is having problems with all this rain.
I really enjoyed skyping with everyone in Grade 6 today! I hope this video answers a few of your questions and gives you an idea of our life and school here in PV. This video is 15mins long so sit back and relax.

I couldn't resist sharing Harley's "photo shoot". I walked upstairs to find her gazing out the window, one of her favorite past times when not at the beach. I wonder what she thinks about?
Our house is like the 4th unit in facing the green space / canal
We get to the beach just south, around the corner of the cruise ships. The Walmart, Sams club and Liverpool mall are the buildings right across the street from the ships.
OK,so apparently, it can get worse. Today we biked home through the rain only to walk into this. The workers were suppose to be putting the finishing touches back on and sealing it up as the job was presumably complete.......
While we were mopping up inside......
This was going on outside......
Keep in mind, this is our doorstep.
Gordo, the poor soul who has had to come and work on the house everyday. He sure enjoyed the supper we cooked him. There were no left overs.
Harley and Mat. In despair or trying to figure out how to get in that kayak?
Below is a video containing footage from last night's fiasco-65cm of rainfall. Amazingly, our spirits are still high!
(Yes, I see my spelling mistake in the video- I guess 2 degrees wasn't enough.)
I finally understand the meaning of , " It has to get worse before it can get better". I believe we have just experienced worse and "worser"-if you will. Worse being the frogs that inhabit our place after a rainfall. "Worser", being the fact that we do not have the flooding in our house under control. In fact we are far from it.
Why is he looking right at me? Does he think this is funny?
Let me introduce you to our boss, our neighbors, our friends and our Mexican family. Michelle and Andres are the most generous people I know. They have shown us the ropes, have helped us settle in and have answered calls of panic from us at any time of the day. I don't know what we would have done without them!
Of course, the best part about our neighbors are they LOVE dogs too!!!
Harley and Woza...two peas in a pod. Ok maybe Harley is a little more grumpy in her old age but their personalities are splitting images of each other. Sleep, play with the ball, look cute. ..... Oh, and you've got food- what great beggars they are!
The infamous street dog, Dayla, which was rescued by Michelle and Andres. To their surprise she was pregnant. They got a little more than they expected. Well, 7 more to be exact.
Silver Girl, a precious little survivor. She was the runt of the litter. Her survival was because of Michelle's and Andres' big hearts. Silver Girl is the last dog to find a home. I am starting to think that Silver girl has found her home and her masters just don't know it yet.......
Notice where Harley is sitting. She's one heck of a guard dog!
Date night with our friends. They make the best pizza's ever!!!
Well, as you can see, this is not Puerto Vallarta. However, this is just too good not to include!!! Lins, K-dog, Ben , Carmie and Chad, thanks for the great trip!!! Get your gear ready for next year!
Any takers?
