What a Great Day!
A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of meeting some Canadians who we think are pretty great! One couple owns a restaurant and makes the best pizza in Jalsico and the other couple and their son, own a very successful ATM business in PV. I think we may be rollin' with the Saproanos of PV.
We celebrated Halloween at Dean's and Lesley's house. And let me tell you, they know how to throw a party! Their resplendent hacienda is the perfect backdrop for a social gathering.
We felt our costumes were very appropriate and representative of where we came from. It didn't take long for the other guests, from Alberta, to start heckling the Rider fans. Nor did it take long for the friendly rivalry between fans to get flowing. By the end of the night, everyone new what it meant to be a Rider Fan and wanted to know where they could buy a jersey.

Katie and Jason (proud owners of Guido's Restaurant) and Dean and Lesley (the one and only -ATM of PV)
A party is not a party without a taco stand and donut machine.
Just the fire department coming to get the left over food from the party, which Dean and Lesley donated to the good men of PV. They thought they would enjoy a nice meal, topped off with a mass collection of delicious desserts.
The next day, Dean and Lesley graciously offered to take us for a boat ride.
This day has officially made the top ten list of days I will remember for the rest of my life. It could be because of the private boat ride to a secluded beach with great company, it could have been the fantastic shrimp platter for dinner,or could have been the fact that hundreds of dolphins surrounded our boat and swam in our wake on the way back to the marina. By the end of the day, my cheeks were aching because of the perma-grin I had on my face all day long.
I am still unable to express this serendipitous moment in time. Of course this picture and video does nothing to represent the extraordinary beauty of these animals.
The Captain of this boat, no matter what Dean says.
Our chauffeur who transported us from the boat to this little secluded paradise

Los Arcos- the jelly fish interrupted our plans to snorkel. Another day....
